Default Hi All

Hi everyone. First post on here.
Just become the proud owner of a 2001 bugeye UK300. Im based in Wakefield area.
Hoping someone can give me some advice, looking for a fairly local garage that can do some work/upgrades on my car. It already has the suspension and brakes sorted. (AP 6 pots, and various suspension upgrades).
Rather lacking in the power department though, it has PPP fitted but Im looking for more Ideally looking for around 300bhp/300lbs. What sort of upgrades would I need to acheive this kind of power level?
I think the car has a remapped ecu, prodrive intercooler pipes, and an aftermarket backbox (the prodrive one been removed by previous owner). Not sure what the rest of the exhaust system has till I get underneath and have a good look.

Ta for any help

Chris

There's also AET TURBO'S in wakefield, and PRECIOUS METAL in Castleford, and HDC SUBARU in Hebden bridge. . . All of the said garages i have had work carried out, and the level and quality of workmanship is second to none. . . HTH

hi mate and welcome to the wyioc

i think you need to take it down to aet and get it on the rolling road ,
yours is a uk wrx ? with ppp and a remap ?
a uk wrx is 225bhp and with ppp 265bhp ,,so with the exhaust and remap you shouldnt be far off 300bhp

Its a UK300 wrx yeah with PPP. Not had a remap to my knowledge apart from the modchip that was fitted to the ECU in the PPP.
May have to give AET a ring on pay day and get it booked on rolling road. Anyone know if they do services too cant see anything on there website. Hoping to get it serviced at the same time

They're setting up an area that may be able to do everything you want. Give them a call and ask for Ellie.

You won't find a nicer and more professional setup.

Welcome BTW

Zak and Drew down at Precious Metal are top ads, won't rip you off, they don't have a rolling road facilty though or re-mapping etc, they will fit parts and do services though etc
