As you know me and Jackie had a week down in my spiritual home, Newquay, well spiritual beach Fistral

Again we dropped on with the weather, and kid free meant we could both play (in the surf) of course

We got to fistral about 4 am after an overnight drive and got a couple of hours sleep in right on Fistral, we awoke at 6am with blazing sunshine a 10' swell and surrounded with mobile homes the billabong junior surf comp was on a perfect start to the holiday.

Surf was fantastic, surfing ever better, but the sea kayaking was just hilarious as well as making you feel alive, made us laugh so much. You know what they say, "Couples that play together stay together"

If you're down their next June we'll have to meet up Usually go for a meal with Si and his Mum when we're down there

Most extreme I get is some cliff walking, cycling the Camel and Tarka trails and eating 3 cream teas in one day I think I have the same problem as you Mick, as I can't keep a kayak upright. I think it's due to too much weight high up on my body, a big head in my case

 

Not sure that excuse carries much weight pardon the pun

Jackie the pro did not tip out once and have you seen her jublies, saying that my moobs may of contributed somewhat to my ducking's

Getting tipped out evertime a wave hits you is part of the fun.

Sarah, do you know your right you girls are gathering quite a few man points for your exploits in my terrortrary what I like to refer to us the X lifestyle

Were planning another trip for June too man toys and extreme activities gallore

Mick mate looks like u and J had a top time,think this sort of thing is what we all need some chill out time without the kids.What about a wyioc surf day or weekend should be good, what u think...

 

Funniest bit was when i was in the sea giving it large, rowing like a good un.
When i heard a little voice calling me from shore, i turned around and there was Mick shouting me, so i struck the pose, thinking he was wanting to take a photo. But oh no, he was trying to warn me about the CLIFFS, i was only a couple of feet away from them .
Another funny bit, Mick was messing around in the Kyack, stood up trying to surf it, so i tipped him out of it. He went head first into the sea, god i couldn,t stop laughing
