My New Weapon Of Choice
Having owned Subarus several of to be honest, as most will know
Over the years, bordom the expense of ownership and the cars ability to do most everything asked got the better of me and as you know I sold the Baiken a few years ago.
Bikes are cheap in comparison and so very much faster and speaking for myself the bike will always outway my ability, no bordem here then
The Varadero 1000 was comfortable and relitively fast but it was just too heavy and single minded as an all out tourer, I actually could ride it beyond it's true capability.
The FZ1 in comparison is quick in a special way Dazza and Si may agree there, and I am really smitten with its all round capabilities, not just one bike but all you could really ask of one. I am certain I will master it, but never be the master of it .
Not everyones cup of tea I know, but needed to share.
crappy garden pics for now (I feel a shoot coming on)
FZ1s Fazer 1000 abs
Yamaha's R1' engined street bike, 153bhp 197kgs
its just a bit rapid

V nice mate - how big is that can?
got mine out of semi-retirement in last few days, thought I'd be in the car til March but going to swap between the 2 as per weather and mood, just too much fun to leave in back yard.
Even nice big handles for Jackie to hold on to (insert own joke here)

Its a deceptivly rapid thing that bike, following Mick and we both gave it some beans, I was at the redline in 2nd 3rd only for Mick to say, "Oh I've only had it round to 6k so far" WTF I had a go and it doesn't feel unmanageble either, although I only did a quick blip blip bliiiiip and look at the speedo and its reading 90
Propper nice riding position too, can't for next year and we can have some propper fun, lots of trips shall be planned
Can't wait...

Thanks for the responses all
It does have a pretty mean can on and sounds pretty good too in standard form.
One day we will all get out on a WYIOC 1 wheel drive mission
