...and the answer, in order would be "heavily" and "across a couple of postcodes".

Measured it from the crest of the bridge to the scrape marks at 70 feet.

wowweeeeeeeeeeeee

I Would like to be mature and sensible with response, and talk about how he will get to work? How big the repair bill will potentially be?... but No way!

Full respect to that man 70' and photo's to prove it kind of put JB's little hop into the pages of obscurity: D

Looks like a great day was had by all, a few casualties but none the less great photos.

You don't want to either, as it's a 40 limit nowadays. It used to be NSL and even at that speed (+/- 20mph ) you can't get air!

Could have done with a few more pics. That last two hours has passed quite quickly.....

To the flying classic....respect mate I assume you're not posting here because you're still in A&E recovering? Get well soon and I hope the front wasn't too badly scuffed..

Just don't let Wakefield Council near that scrape otherwise there'll be fooking great hole, sunken then immediately raised (yes they can do both) with an off camber rippled kink to the road (read 68 degrees), with the lumpy tarmac being neatly stamped into place by 9 blokes wearing hob nail boots and a McDonalds reject adding those stylish finishing touches with a single ball pein hammer; while the rest go off to murder another perfectly good stretch of tarmac.... Muppets.

A fun day was had by nearly all.... and the poor classic may not fly that far again, well not with that owner.... even dawdling round at back was fun, damn and blast, mumble re-map, Grrr.

Ace pics, Sticks.

Nobody told us to take it slowly! after getting a little air throughout the day we thought it would be a 'little' again. all we were told is that sticky was going ahead to set up the camera! it is NSL as you know and no signs telling us to slow so we didn't

P.S. I was the passenger to those that didn't know

Was an amazing day!

There were no casualties in the flying classic...just the car...and it drove home(on a space saver) but it drove!!!

TOP QUALITY Pics there Sticky....you got some great ones of my Silver bug with the low spoiler! Thankyou very very much!!!

I caught air earlier in the run on a blind crest( with my g/f next to me...she screamed and then laughed), the same crest damaged 2 other newages, just glad mine ain't lowered!

Was even more impressed by the fact that, over about 6 hours I didn't see even one cop!!! That is amazing....in Wales it is swarming with them!

Anyways....top day...thanks to all who organized it and took part.

No more than usual mate. I just can't believe how bad a job they can make of a hole... Logic tells me it would be easier in the long run to re-lay a complete section of road rather than just throw tarmac into a series of holes turning them into a series of lumps.... or how hard is it to redo the same stretch (3 times at the B&Q roundabout at Cathedral retail) and achieve the same rippled effect every time...that needs repairing soon after...

My splitter was reduced to little glass fibery shreds the first time I went over that very bridge you see in the photos.

So where were you? You're more than welcome to join in you know

You know mate, I was considering it, our Evo lot don't tend to have as many run outs either

I will look out for the next one, might be able to tempt a few others too
