It was my stepdad's 46th birthday last night so I went over in my blue Scooby WRX, I had it mapped to 280bhp Monday and let him have a test drive on his own. The last time he drove it he was back in 5 mins complaining about the turbo lag. Anyway 20 mins after he left we were all getting very worried that he hadn't returned, When he finally did return he said he had been pulled by the Police on the mad-mile (Ossett). He said the bill were trying desperately to do him for something and asked him all manner of questions whilst he was in the back of the Volvo saying they'd had complaints about a blue car going up and down the mad-mile. My stepdad said the seemed p*ssed-off that they couldn't get anything on him and didn't even share a joke that he was sporting a tache, wearing a v-neck jumper and has a Driving Instructor job! He said he never got the chance to go on the boost for fear of the cops seeing him but a few hours later he said "Pretty bad lag in 3rd gear, Matt."

Quite different, seems to rev a little higher too. Boost is only 14.3 but only drops to 13.8. Before it was 12.5 and dropped to 9ish.

Think my stepdad was worried because they radioed in for my details and I've got extremely serious previous with the Wakefield police.

First time I've had the car out of the garage last night since mondays b'day madness and I've noticed my door pillar cover has been stolen. It was either nicked whilst parked up in Horbury or the Police stole it.

Bought an RS2000 for £8250 from Well Lane turbo centre, £10000 after finance! Got it up to 165bhp after spending a small fortune then wrote it off on the Mad Mile - insurance paid me £3000.

P.S. the carbon door pillars off ebay don't fit and do need modifications to stick on.
