Anyone been to Rome?

i went a few year back, loads to look at and loads of good places to eat. we went to the trevi fountain, colosseum and had a trip to vatican city it was a good hol weather was really good. loads of ferraris knocking about. just watchout near the train station its a bit of a redlight district. have a good un!

Do the tour bus - you can hop on and off and it goes to all the major sites including the Vatican. Note: you can only get to the Trevi fountain on foot.
Leave at least a day for the Vatican - it's huge.
Last but not least, watch you pockets - don't wear expensive jewellery or flash your cash. There are loads of pick-pockets in Rome and they don't dress like you'd think. Most are very smartly dressed, one distracts, whilst the other bumps.
If you take care, it's a fantastic place with some superb sights...

cool, thanks for the advice chaps, i'm going sightseeing so definitely no jewels on
i'll be off next august probably, currently mulling over las vegas in march with my best mate, but have to see about job first boooo!
