Hey Arthur - Spoke to Chy last Thurs. It's getting there m8 - I've asked him to do some "special" bits and also the fact that the "secret weapon" only arrived from abroad last week after a 2 mth bloody wait which has caused the overall delay! We are hoping the next 2 weeks should do it

ya got my car back,finally.had it back a few weeks now seems to be holding up ok this time but its still using a litre of oil to just over 100 miles.going to run it for the summer and have some fun out of it then take it to somone who nows how to build engines properly and get it done right.he used the old waiting for parts from abroad trick on me when i was having the first build,what he realy means is its bin shoved to the back of the pile till he gets around to doing it.i saw your car when i went to pick mine up,looked like it had just done the last stage of the world rally,hope he is going to sort all the damage he has done to it out for you.

 

But mine would not have been moved too much as the turbo has come out of it 2 days after i dropped her off. Was there any physical damage you saw to it?

sounds like youve had a bad time with a certern block? mine is a 2.5 cdb built from chy last year it goes through alot of oil too but no probs other than that. is there somthing i should know? because im about to put power up to 500 and im about to see chy again.

 

didnt have time to look around the car but apart from the dirt all over it and the front splitter smashed off that was about it really.he did say he would pay for a new splitter and you could fit it yourself,but thats not the point is it.when you leave your pride and joy with someone you expect it to be taken care of.hate to say i told you so but,i did tell you so.

lets just say ive had more than a bad time with a certain block for a full year,its bin apart more times than i care to say.its up and running now and going ok but that amount of oil usage is just not right.

get my facts straight?.i dont need to get them any straighter than they are,and yes anybody can ring you and you will fill them in with a load of bo**ocks to try and make it look all good for you.the truth is you built me an engine in the first place which was totally knackered and for the past year you made my life hell.and if you are refering to to bit about jp4,s front splitter then thats the truth aswell.you have no respect for peoples cars when they leave them in your hands,i should know you have smashed the corner of my front bumper off twice.or are you going to denie that aswell.
