Clutch went at Donington yesterday
Thinking of trying a paddle clutch this time

unlucky mate,

have you thought about a twinplate rather than a paddle clutch heard the paddles are a bit of a t**t for daily driving

bloody hell another clutch,carnt be anything to do with the way you drive can it .i know the first one went as a result of trying to tow some *** head half way round the dales but this one hasnt lasted very long at all.you will just have to stop stuffing all that cash under your mattress and fork out for a better one this time.

i thought i would be to blame.i have a twin plate exedy in mine and touch wood its the only thing that i have had no trouble with ever since its been fitted.its just not the best of clutches to use through traffic though as the slight judder can get on your ****.

twin plate exedy ian all the way mate,i had one in pee bub,,and that held 535ftlb back with no problem.And a load of drag day's,,,paddle clutche's are too harsh and a bitch for road work..Hope this helps mate.....

ian when i had my type r v5 i looked and looked for the right clutch , i ended up with a helix that was capable of holding 500lb torque ,and felt just like a standard one
howard at hdc suplied and fitted this for me and i had no probs what so ever

hope you get it sorted mate
