I'd guess that car has had a serious knock. WRX scoop suggests they've maybe replaced the bonnet and saved a few quid. The low wing may mean they've sold the STi one on, or that they've put a WRX lid and wing on again as a cheap repair. It has the 05 rear bumper and arch extensions too, yet is advertised as an 04. The Max Power 'M3' mirrors may mean they were knocked off in whatever disaster occurred and the Sparco wheel may hint that the airbag did its job but was too pricey for this top repair job. The interior is also newer than the 04 plate suggests.
Looking from another angle, it has a small silver badge on the boot which may denote it as a Spec C. IIRC the 'C' did come with the low WRX wing and possibly the smaller scoop. The 05 geometry revision was to standardise the Spec C set-up across the STi range, but I don't recall Spec C's getting the revised bumper and arch extensions prior to 05. There is a slim chance that this is a slightly mod'd (mirrors & wheel) Spec C, but more likely a bodged repaired import.
Edit: Just had a look over some Spec C's and they have the small wing but large scoop, no arch extensions prior to 05, no sills and no front bumper winglets. IIRC they always got an all black interior too.
