Default waste of time and money

turned up at squires tonight for our 2nd meeting after joining last month. info on here says meeting starts at 7:30,didn't last month so asked when meeting starts and was told 8:30. We left tonight at 8:45 ,as none of the organisers had arrived, and we won't be coming back. completely disorganised and a waste of time and money - we didn't even get a sticker!

Sorry to hear that you feel like that but but if you'd have come over to speak to us you would have found out that unfortuneatly paul an debs car broke down an emma D an garry D were with them so they were going to be quite late! I didn't even know you were there till i saw you leave! But there is no need to post up like this an be childish about it, you could have simply got in contact with one of us an talked about it!

Default MEETING LAST NIGHT

Hi, maggsi, im sorry to hear what happend last night, but we had broken down like jubby had said, i was out picking up a roll cage for pauls track car to do the next blyton on the 19th of next month, which has been so sucsessfull that the last 2 we have done has raised nearly £800 for the club, so as you can see i sort of had my hands full at this end, but i did turn up at the meeting for 8.45PM and some of the memebers were there, in all fairness no one has your number to get in contact with you, and has for the meeting, we all arrive at squires have a chat and a catch up, then we go down stairs for the meeting, our meetings are not that formal that we just go have a meeting and dont have a laugh with our friends, once again im really sorry to hear that you feel like that.....DEBBIE....

I am sorry too that you feel like this, but again if you had botherd to come and talk to everyone that was there you would have found out what was happening and why the organisers were not there. We meet at 7.30 to talk to everyone else and socalise, this seems to work for everyone and thats what I enjoy about the club.
I am really proud and happy to be a part of this club and I am sure you would of been too if you had come and joined in. Helen

....to be followed by.... the wyioc lads/lass's are spot on, organisation is sound if a little relaxed (by relaxed i mean friendly) i currently don't get chance to get to meetings due to work but do attend the Blyton meets!!!

it is frustrating and i can see your point but i think you should give it another go, even if you just get the sticker

anyway, get yourself back down!!

Part of paying the subs is to have the meetings but mostly its for the shows and unfortunately youve missed most of them,I agree with jubby thats pretty childish to say you didnt come over to chat to us which would have told you what had happened and why the meeting didnt happen.
Its up to you if you dont want to be part of the club but its your loss,25 quid is nothing when you see all the things we do throughout the year.....give us a chance!

Mine is poorly, so didn't make it.

BUT, if you were there and didn't wander across to say "hello !", then it's a shame nobody there spotted you and came across to say said "hello" to you....

IMHO

dunx

P.S. three wheels on my wagon (NOT).... and I'm still NOT rolling along.

Been my main point, its my ACS Assessment next week so at the moment, everything has to go to the wayside until the assessments are passed as they determine my career.
