Default big thanks Andy Carr

after numerous recommendations from some of you on here(you know who you are)i decided to use Andy Carr to fit and map a simtek for my car.
all i can say is he is probably the most decent bloke around and very patient

i am over the moon with the way the car now goes and how smooth it is.it feels like a different car now and i will continue to use Andy from now on.

so again BIG BIG THANKYOU MR CARR

Tim

p.s sorry not been at recent meets was busy fitting turbo's etc....

not sure yet arf and unsure which one to use,but it drives fantastic now with the simtek and has alot more power than before can't fault Andy as i had a few issues with the actuator while he was boost mapping(wastegate was jamming open)so kept stopping and adjusting but was still happening.
went back to Andy's house he lent me some tools and a few nuts, washers etc... so i could move the actuator further back.

we then went out again and tried for the boost map and all was good !!!

plenty of people would have sent me home to cure this problem then rebook but Andy just said if you can sort it at mine then we'll sort it.

top bloke and hospitality is second to none

Tim

p.s he did mention your car was pretty damn quick and was just a shame about everything thats happened regarding your engine hope you sort it soon mate.

you could try the dyno down at area 52 its not that far away and its a dyno dynamics so should be quite accurate.we had a few probs with my air flow sensor when i was up at his last, due to the wires being ripped out of the socket by some shoddy back street garage that i dont want to mention,so he cut the sensor off his own car and fitted it to mine so the job could be finished, now thats service with a smile if ever i saw it.if he thinks my car was quick the last time he mapped it then i have a bit of a surprise for him next time he does it.
