stay clear, dont know what the maps are like uses chips i think, but the customer service a friend of mine recieved from the bloke was horrendous.
Do yourself a favour and use someone with a decent reputation like jgm or Andrew Carr.
I use Andrew Carr for my car as do a few of us in the wyioc i wouldn't take my car anywhere else

Any particular reason why? I found Andrew very good. I think its a bit strong to say what you have without good reason or are you just one of these guys that likes to create and argument on here?

Hi, he has mapped a car and it has issues which he is choosing to ignore,
I will continue to post about the experiences had with him until he answers emails/texts, all I can do is warn others of what he does when it goes wrong, just ignore you.

I know Andrew C comes on here and if he thinks im wrong then why not contact me.

should be good to see what gains you get from it all when mapped up,sounds like the tuning bug has a hold of you too.the last i heard about mine is they are going to start all over again with a new block as the old one is causing problems.gunna give em a call next week when they reopen.

the only problem is mate, that everyone on here that i know has had good dealings with andrew so i dont think spouting your mouth of about him is going to do any good.i for one have had a very rough past 18 months with my car and a certain engine builder i dont want to mention.the one man that has been there for me all the way through it is andrew carr.to say things like he just turns his back when things go wrong, then i just don't believe.he could have given up on me a lond time ago and said he didn't want anything else to do with me but he hasnt,he has even mapped my car for free when he could have charged me,he has been there to call when i needed him,and i value the advice he gives.so i sudjest if you have a problem with him take it somewere else. arf.

Agreed - Andrew Carr is the man. Contact him, Pm me for contact details if you like. You explain to him what you want, and what you have and he'll point you in the right direction pre-map. I was always on the phone and he gave me plenty tips to buying the right products for my power requirements, and im not finished there. still al little more to go yet so he will be getting a phone call of me in a few weeks for a mapping tweak.

Where to start. There is plenty threads mate explaining options, but this subject appears to always be 'up in the air' in regards to the best options. Me personally have had no issues with open source mapping with Andrew Carr, or you could go the ECUtek License route at around £550 min + vat. Ive noticed your location mate so ive sent you a PM.

Rob

edited as i have just found the thread i was looking for https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...n-mapping.html
