This was my first MMM (and not the last) and I have to say I'm was very surprised at the amount people who braved the foul weather, very impressive turn out, the summer meets must mental!! So just a quick word of thanks for the warm welcome, sorry I didn't get to speak to more of you but once I got chatting to Bez well that was it, big thanks to Bez for the quick ride in his car, a very impressive display despite the ice and thick fog!!!.
Looks like I'd better get my TVR sold and a Scooby bought ASAP

really enjoyed our chat, it helped me a lot, it's nice talking to like minded people, the TVR definitely WON’T be out at Cadwell 340bhp 1000kg and rear wheel drive on what will almost certainly be a wet greasy track is a recipe for disaster!!! And if I crash it that’s my racing budget gone, I’ll leave winter trackdays to the AWD cars with ABS and air bags, might take the old Nissan Primera round though it will probably be faster the the Griff if the weather is really bad, I’ll check place availability on Monday, what time are you planning to set off down to Cadwell on Sat 6th?

 

For me with cadwell, I'm taking tools and spare tyres, so going in van and car on trailer. Saturday morning would be to early start for me, as you have to be at track at 7.30 to sign on, So will be going over Friday night, few beers, then a steady start, I hoping a few of the guys will be coming over, then we can get the old barn booked, cheep and good. So I would be setting of about 5ish on Friday night.

No mate still not found out what it is, think it might be a tensioner bearing as it isn't always there. I had ago at porting my headers too, i'm quite happy with them, it pulls a lot better low down

I have got some mapping software now so just need to get the tactrix cable and learn how to use it

Just doing some logging at the minute

Hows things with yours gearbox still holding together???

Yes mate thats my plan for this year is to learn how to map. Still got plenty of homework to do and get a wideband, det cans etc.... Don't know if i will be at the eom as i'm on lates that week i will try and get a shift swap. If not i will see you at the rr day.
