My poor scooby
First of all i would just like to say a massive thanks to Bez for all his help this morning it is really appreciated mate
Was on may way to work this morning just sat waiting for the traffic lights to change, they go green and off i go the next thing i know my head is nearly hitting the steering wheel. Pull the car over and i just started shaking like a s**ting dog.
The guy that witnessed it rang the police and within a couple of minutes the ambulance and police car is there, they get me out of the car and put me in the ambulance and this is what i saw.
Got hit with some speed me thinks.

Agreed, seen worse put back right, nothing a week or two on a jig wouldn't fix providing the roof isn't creased.

Coops78 really hope you recover soon. I've been in a few accidents (unfortunately) but luckily I have never been rear ended like that (whilst at a stop).
I wish you a speedy recovery followed by a nice big pair of fat cheques from your insurance company & a compensation claim

Glad you seem ok, get some more photo of the location of the accident and get a statement off who you can.... its all good for a claim, and dont bother win a no win no fee jobby... If you do your home work, representing yourself is just as good. Hes hit you fairly hard i'd say this you need some photos of the skid marks (im guessing there isnt any until the impact?)
PS, If wrote off buy the car off the insurance if relatively cheap bud, you'll do ok on here with it...

Also I was thinking about your situation earlier and a guy I know called Adrian sprang to mind. He is a Deffensive driving instructor for large business and footballers to help reduce Insurance premiums (saved our company 1/2 million pounds over the last 7 years). He is ex CID and knows his stuff, he could maybe help you out if you choose to represent yourself on the claim. PS his biggest pet hate is Police & Government lol.
I think it is also good to learn to say crash and not an accident. An accident has no known or assignable cause. A crash does!

Ohhh in chomping at the bit now.... Last message as im sure you1r not wanting to read all this:
In personal injury cases, insurance companies love to use the word “accident”, which implies that your injury, caused by someone else’s carelessness was a simple no-fault situation. The use of the word “accident” is a manipulative attempt to sway a jury into believing that the crash, or rear end shunt in your situation was not anybody’s fault. In reality, an “accident” is usually caused by someone who wasn’t paying attention
