Default front splitter

picked up my front splitter/spoiler (many thanks Gary fine piece of kit) I've got it test fitted (fits great) see pics

now I can't decide whether to paint it red to match the car or black to match the side skirts/door mirrors/ door handles etc

BTW I’ve decided on red for the front spoiler I just got it painted as the heavens opened it caught a few spits of rain but I think I’ve got away with it.

It’s testament to Garys' high quality GRP work that it only needed a quick rub with some P600 and the paint went straight on, no serious fettling required, top job Gary

LOL it was never going to be used for 'Rallying', but I still plan on doing the Scooby Sprint series and Subaru Cup, and at present I've only fitted a some fog covers and a splitter its hardly major bodywork, all the over 'fettling' to things like clutch, boost solenoid, fitting a later TMIC etc etc were essential no matter what use it is to be put.

Well pleased with the splitter cheers, and yeah I hope we have a good time too, but I'd be happier if I'd had chance to run the car a little maybe get the fueling checked before our trip, It's only done around 30 miles since I got it, so it's as yet untested and it's had quite a lot of work inc engine out etc, I had a little run out in it tonight and it seems OK, at least it's stopped smoking also I've managed to set the boost at 10 PSI despite the broken boost solenoid, this 'should' (fingers crossed) be OK till I get back and fit the new 3 port solenoid get it checked and the map tweaked if required. I've just got to resist the temptation to mess with it while we're over there.
Anyway if it all goes t#ts up Im in the AA.
