Default don't shoot !!!!

(bit of an update !!!)well as a couple of you know i've got myself yet another motor i thought to myself i'd see what all the fuss is about impreza/evo impreza/evo impreza/evo blah blah blah ........

so i got this on friday neet from down south and drove it back up north, then all the down to southampton on sat morning to grandma's
so i've not had a chance to open her up properly yet as when i filled up to bring it home it were on fumes and all i could get was dogs**t bp fuel.
went to shell sat morning before coming down here and the quick blast home to get the family and dog was ok.......if a little flat to be honest but it is pretty much standard at the min

anyway here's some pic's of Erica (this is what little tweaks calls her hehe)

and some in the new forest today

couple of bits that need to change are the wheels and the power output

let me know what you think ??

Tim

Default bit of an update

right folks seen as everyone's been going on abart how dull it is on here at the minute i thought i'd let you all see what i've been upto with the car.
there has been a few performance modifications that i've bobbed on it but took no photo's and you've all seen exhausts and boost controllers before anyway so heres what i've been upto......

stripped the front end off and split the headlights to paint them black and while i was at it cleaned intercooler and grills etc and painted to match

also got the wheels refurbed and powdercoated gloss black at midas touch in cas and must say they did an excellent job at a good price

look better in the flesh like.

so heres some random pics i took today before she got me on wit plastering lounge

couple of bits to finish off like centre caps, bonnet vents etc..
but its getting there

so what you all think,better/not better ??

I have had a soft spot for the evo 5/6 since they came out and will one day have one for blurting about in, for now my wrx will do though.
I see the front bumper is quite scabby, any plans to refurb/replace it? Seems to be the only weak link on that motor.

Coops dude i've changed me phone and i lost all me numbers so you'll have to send it me again,my no. is the same still.
i've not changed the bolts yet but will get some arp's and some cosworth shells while am at it don't want it spinning em at 8000rpm or chucking one through
plus santa needs to get me a wideband and tactrix 2.0 cable so i can map the damn thing.

always knew you had a soft spot fort astra, the noise, the power, the handling
sometimes don't know why i bother with the proton the astra's got it all already including missing rear wheel trims for weight reduction/unsprung weight

Yeah been looking at cosworth stuff for mine mate, think i am gonna use acl bearings and cosworth head gaskets, still undecided on what head studs to use though.

I use a 1.3 openport that i got of Andrew, i have a copy of ecuedit but i havent figured out the ecu definitions yet so i have been using ecuflash, changed a few things in mine like injector size and removed a few faults codes when i removed the tgv's. Wideband is on my shopping list to.

tactrix 1.3 is no good for me fella as its for the newer stuff with dl 16 connections thats why i need 2.0,i've got ecuflash also but need the other bits or its pretty useless.if you just flash a map on blind you don't know whats happening in there

Tim

p.s got your p.m fella
