Default Noise from left rear wheel turning right!!??

I wonder if anyone can shed some light onto this. Last night I went for a drive and went round a sharp right hand bend and I could hear a kind of grinding noise from the passenger rear wheel. It does not happen at slow speeds or in any other direction apart from when I turn right. I have had recent new discs and pads less than a couple of hundred miles ago and the car has only done 42,000 miles (it's a 57 hawkeye WRX). Does anybody have any ideas?

Have you checked for a stone caught between the disc and the guard at the rear? That's common.

If not, maybe the handbrake shoes too tight?

Try finding a sweeping right and then load the car up by turning right at 50mph.

If it gets louder, it's a bearing.

Cheers guys, will whip the wheel off at the weekend, hopefully it will just be a stone rather than a bearing!

I'd be interested to know this too I have had the same problem on mine but only going in reverse. I have checked it over but am unable to find anything and its just passed its MOT so nothing out of the ordinary is wrong

Someone a while ago mentioned about it being related to the BC coilovers but I havent been able to find anything
