Hi thinking of swapping from my rota gravel 18" with 245/40/18's for xxr 527's, as far as I know the xxr with et35 will fit better than the ones with et20 but I've seen some sets advertised as split sizes?? My car has bc coilovers with 5/4 springs(actually no idea what that refers to), anyway I'd say the car doesn't look lowered as there appears to be decent clearance above both front & rear wheels below the arches.. Could anybody recommend what size xxr's & offset I should get & also tyre size, should I stick to 245/40/18's or go 235 or even 225 & on my hawkeye will I need to roll/pull the rear arches?
Thanks in advance Matt

I thought this too but if your car is lowered properly and even with camber bolts you will get tyre rub, maybe only once in a hundred corners when you go hard, even with a widetrack, but it will still rub at some point. Here is my story with the exact same wheels and car:

Cheers, am I right in thinking I could fit et20's on the rear as long as I had the arches pulled/rolled for a more aggressive stance? & for the record what are camber bolts?

It's more the sharp edge of the unrolled under lip that you have to worry about especially if your driving it hard, as you could see from my tyre it rubbed some outer rubber off the tyre, if you go real hard it could actually puncture the sidewall.
Good luck whatever you decide!
