Default Deep Dish Wheel Recommendations?

As the title says I am looking for some recommendations of deep dish wheels.

I will be putting them on my newage, they need to be 18x11 and they need to have a dish. So far the best I have found are XXR's 531 wheels.

They are CCW classics not xxr's

It totally depends on your budget and what sort of wheel you want. I'm happy to help look for some though, I enjoy trying to spend other people's money haha

Thanks, any help would be good I dont know much about wheels.

Budget wise I havent thought really, end of the day if the wheels are right i'll get them. My specs are 18x10.5 or 18x11 and I want a deep dish so it gives the effect of the car being really wide

Pretty much all of the Impreza's I've seen running the arches you are going to be making use Work Meister wheels. Probably because they are 3piece so can be adapted to suit the needs of each person.
Personally, if I was in your position where I was using the car as a display piece I'd be looking for something to really set it apart from the rest. Would you consider having some made to your spec?

Yes thats what I am thinking too, dont want to follow the pack and put on some wheels that others have I want the car to be unique.

I have not thought about having some made no although thats a good idea, who are good at building wheels to a specific spec?

Have a look at image wheels, they will make you a custom 3 piece wheel out of billet and not silly money

Have you used image before Jake? I had some dishes made for my mk2 a few years ago and they weren't the best. I wouldn't use them again

I'd be tempted to go for these in all gold. 18x11 et15 would give them an awesome concave look

Or these if you want some dish

Not sure if I am a fan of the concave look, the look I want is wide and I think a deep dish would give more of an illusion than concave

There are loads of styles that come with big 'dish' mate. You can even get different types of 'lip' as well as size

Ok guys im in need of some help before I order my wheels. After much searching and being very disappointed that BBS dont do the LM range in the size and offset I want I have decided to look into XXR 521's

XXR only do the wheels in 18x10 +25 114.3 which look damn good with the flares, photos below. I have a 02 Blob, what I want to know is will a hub conversion from 5x100 to 5x114.3 be safe to run and with spacers can I reduce the offset (advised is +15)?

Sorry for the simple questions but im not clued up on wheels at all

Using adaptors will effectively increase the offset of the wheels. It's fairly simple to work out how much by though;
Wheels currently have an et of 25 and have been recommended to use a 15mm adaptor?

If that is correct 25-15 = et10

With regards to safety of the adaptor. As long as you buy good quality ones they will be fine, just don't risk an unknown brand/manufacturer

Thanks Kev

I have been told by the guy who owns the silver blob that the wheels are 18x10 +25 but he is running +5mm adaptors front and +25 rear.

Now looking at the photo the rear sticks out which I dont want but the fronts are fine, can you tell how they'd look knowing they'd fall +10? Need to order these asap so want to make sure I get everything right

Wheel converters will be bought from CDF they have 15/20/25mm

No problem mate.

His wheel will be et20 at the front and et0 at the back. So, at the front yours would stick out 10mm more at the front and 10mm less at the rear. That is assuming you use the 15mm spacer!

I'm sure you'll been fine with CDF Adaptors

Looks like I have found my setup

He is running 285/30/18 tyres too, look like a good fit to me so I will do the same.

Thanks for your help mate hopefully it'll all be on for the NBO if you are going?
