The time has come for me to change the discs and pads on the car.
It currently is running the standard WRX Brake set up, with grooved discs front and back, but I am not completely happy with this set up.
I am thinking that I need some drilled discs, but having never owned a Scooby until this car I am after some advise.
The car is used as a bit of a daily driver (circa 100 miles/week) with some side roads and motorway use, so not looking for out and out performance set up as don't intend to take it on a track any time soon, but do want something that can take some occasional abuse so to speak.
So what do you think??
Thanks for your help

in general the pad material has more bearing on the brake feel & performance than discs and personally i wouldn't use drilled variants unless from the likes of Brembo..............(all calipers working correctly, etc.)
what pad are you suing and what specific issues or problems are you tying to solve??

It might help you to see what they do and what they don't,there very high quality pads none the less but the best man to talk to would be Alyn from ASPERFORMANCE really as he deals with a lot of there parts.http://www.racehardware.com/Document...riction_V8.pdf.SJ.

They just don't seem to bite like I expected them too and upon closer visual inspection the discs look like they are on their way out.
I just don't have full confidence in them, hence why I don't really push my car atm as I want this sorted out, safety first and all that.
As said I don't intend on doing track days or anything like that, but I do enjoy some A road fun (just not atm).
