hi, im new to this site and new to subaru so be easy....

the problem im having is i recently just bought a 2001 gx awd and all seems in good order except from when im coming to a stop there seems to be a little grinding noise?

brand new discs and pads on front brakes and back look in good order?

the problem only seems to be as im coming to a stop or reversing and stopping theres a noise from the back end could it be suspension or brakes, or is this a standard thing? please help

Have you tried touching the alloys to see if they are hot? Sounds like a sticky calliper

it happens both after use and just before use of driving

Could still be a sticky brake . .

As Roy said really, the dust seals could have gone and brake dust has siezed the caliper

as its only doing it at a stop and not any other time, will this cause more problems or should it be ok?
