Default Procedure for painting bare alloys

So after a load of hassle I had my wheels chemically dipped to remove 2 loads of powder coat , so I now have bare alloy wheels

I'm going to attempt pairing them myself with Lumo orange

What stages do I need to follow , etch prime 1st after keying them ? Then colour then laquer ?

I'm borrowing a compressor from a friend

Do I key each time I paint or just paint onto paint ?

Cheers guys but that's painting with rattle cans and with tyres on etc , I have bare alloy as been chemically dipped and in using spray gun etc

Scotch them up then clean with a bit of thinners, etch prime and let it totally dry, flat the primer with some 800 wetndry, clean with thinners, lay your colour on as many Coates as you want leaving about 10 mins between each coat not let it dry between, just tacky then clear coat and same procedure

Ok cheers bud , so gong flatten the colour coats in between each coat ? And do I flatten the last colour coat before clear coat ? Or not flatten anything apart from etch primer ?

No don't flat the colour and don't let It completely dry between coats, just clear straight on it
