Default Big brake mod

I've seen a few pictures of people using the 4 pot Subaru calipers on bigger disc.... sont know what disc or how they mount the caliper. But just wondering if anyone knows any more about this mod, and if it's worth it?

its most probably the Godspeed kit https://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/imp...onversion.html,my wife had them on her Impreza before she upgraded to gold sti 4 pot Brembo callipers,in all honesty they were miles better compared to the o.e set up.SJ.

What i should add is wheel size comes into play as well especially when fitting Gold STI brembo calipers as they will only fit Under 17” or above with STI offset, even certain different style wheels can give you problems fitting brembos.SJ.

When I started my project a mate offered me a set of Porsche calipers just like yours pictured....but as i wanted to do the rears as well i went for the Ap’s...Part of me still wish’s that i gave them a try at the time,as my friend always use to rave about how good they were.SJ.

I had the same dilemma, ap on the front but their isnt a rear set that fits, so fitted hatch sti brembos powdercoated with a new badge

my OCD would allow different badges

Ap on the front and brembo on the back would have made my left eye twitch when I looked at it.
