I need some harder wearing tyres than my Bridgestone Potenza's. I was thinking of the new Avon ZZ3 (I had the ZZ1 a couple of years ago and it was VERY hard wearing). Any ideas on long life tyres please?

Thumbs down

Don't do it.. from memory the Avons finished last in the EVO test...and the tyre fitter I was speaking to on Saturday didn't exactly speak highly of them. Good on bikes - crap on cars.

Don't really think 'hard wearing tyres' and 'Impreza' don't really go together!

Conti SportContact2. Treadwear rating 280. To put in perspective;

P-Zero 140
F1 either 180 or 220
P-Zero Nero 240

Maybe others could post theirs here. The Contis lasted me 24,000 miles. When they got to 3mm I changed them.
