Godspeed are looking into doing uprated discs for OE Brembos also.
Unfortunately SS AP disc upgrade is apparently a couple of months away.
I've also tried (unsuccessfully) to track down some of the DBA discs mentioned in the thread below. Contact in thread is distributor only.

Blimey!!!!
Hopefully it's a way off for a most of you yet, but a few of our more "press-on" customers have killed their STi VII pads already and rang me to tell me of a minor heart attack when visting the dealer.

Try £272.62 inc for front and £254.45 inc rear!!!

So a quick phone call to Italy and we can now exclusively offer the delightful Ferodo DS 2500 for £164.44 inc front and just £117.44 inc rear

So that saves you nearly £250 for what is arguably a better pad anyway! enough for a track day and a bit of fuel

I'm sure the other manufacturers will follow suit soon to give a great choice and hopefully save a few quid all round!
cheers

Blimey.
So as I was vaugely thinking along these lines already, anybody know if there is an AP disc you can buy that will fit using the standard Brembo calipers?
I don't want to use the OE discs for track work anyway so it sounds like it might be worth upgrading (if poss) sooner rather than later and then I'll have the (expensive) OE discs and pads to put back on, when I come to sell it......
Thoughts people?
Ta,
Matt

Does anyone else find the OE STI7 UK brake set-up pretty ineffective?
I've been used to Alcon 330mm's on my old MY99, my STI7 has 300bhp & 295 ftlb on tap and with a much heavier car I'm finding it murder to stop!
