Anyone had any experince with EBC red pads?

I've been offered some and would like to know if they're worth the money.

Cheers

I hated them on standard disks - way too much lag to be safe. They need heat to work well so if youve got grooved disks you'll be fine. Im selling my set with only a few k miles on em for 50quid incl post if you want em to try. New they were 98 and that was the best price I could get.

Jon.

Cheers Jon but I'm getting a really good deal

How about the EBC greens do they require as much heat to work correctly ??

I've had some reds on for a month now and although i haven't noticed anything particularly bad about them yet i'm just waiting for the sh*t to hit the fan after reading about the experiences of others.

BTW they don't recommend greens for Scoobies as they're meant for small cars and we're too heavy. They stop better but wear out much faster, or so i've heard.

Greens on standard size caliprs / disks are no good, cos of the cars weight as mentioned before. On larger disks they would be fine - ie. 335s etc.
