Hello all,
Need to put some new rear pads on my MY98 Terzo.
I have the Scoobysport Grp N+ kit with Padgid pads on the front and standard (Subaru fitted) pads on the back and they have worked fine.
Is it worth changing to Pagid on the back or just get a set of Subaru pads?
Any idea on the cost of each before I phone Pete or my dealer?
Done the fronts no prob. But can some kind person post the order of things needed done at the rear as it were.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
TIA
Ian

I had the Scoobysport Group N+ brake upgrade fitted yesterday, BUT I stuck with normal pads for the back. As 80% of the Subaru's breaking comes from the front discs, I don't think there is much benefit to be made by 'upgrading' the pads at the back. If you are happy with your current setup, then keep it as is.
To replace the pads for the rear, I assume that the MY98 is the same as the MY99 model? If so then just undo the nut at the base of the rear calliper on the inside, then just lift up from the base of the calliper, it should pivot on the top mounting. This leaves easy access to the pads!

Just me, 'cos I am cheap but
I haven't changed the rears to anything other than Subaru OE pads. AP/Brembos at the front with whatever pad comes with them from SS - not upgraded stuff. Rear pads normally do 2-3 (or more) track-days whereas fronts do 1, poss 2 if pussying about. That probably sums it up. Suits me anyway

Ian,
I've put the Pagid fast road pads on the rear of my MY98 and they are spot on. At £43 I think they will be cheaper than OEM. On a different note are your front discs grooved?
