Fitted some DS2500 pads and disks (group N+) brought from TSL today on my MY02 Impreza. Stopped after 1-2 miles to watch the streams of smoke poring of the discs and noticed some fluid on the inside on both front wheels. On one wheel there must have been 10-20 drips and the other enough to make a ring all the way around. Looking closely the fluid may be a very thin oil and as the brake fluid level has not dropped I'm pretty sure this is not the source.
Assuming its oil used to protect the discs on the shelf or cutting fluid used while being manufactured. Anyone else seem this or know what it is?????

orbv, you will not get drips of oil from any anti-corrosion measures. Sounds like you have cracked an oil line or loosened a nipple or summat during fitting.
Get it professionally checked before you hit something
Be safe,
Richard.

Done a couple more journeys and no more drips. It also looks like the fluid has evaporated overnight so could have been the cleaner fluid used to clean the discs before fitting or protective oil / cutting fluid.
They have been inspected this morning can see nothing wrong.
