Just had a flat tyre, but had to drive maybe 0.75 miles on it before I could get to a place safe enough to change it. Don't yet know if it's repairable as I've not looked for anything in it so far. Thing is, I'm wondering how much damage has been done to the sidewall (it was a bit warm when I took the wheel off), so is it worth asking if it is repairable. The tyre (Toyo T1-S) has only done about 750 miles from new.
Being the cautious sort, I'll probably end up getting a new tyre anyway.

If it went truly flat, such that the rim of the alloy was running on the inside shoulder of the tyre, you'll more likely than not need a new one ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
About five years ago, Toyo used to provide a warranty with each tyre such that if it needed replacing due to a puncture, you got a discount off a new one based on the amount of tread left ... unfortunately, they don't do that now

It was truly flat - still, the wheel is undamaged so that's something. Oh well, didn't want to buy that back box this month anyway

if you run any distance at all on a low profile tyre it will knacker it..even the weight of the car on it alone will probably knacker the inner wall. You can ask the fitter to check but its almost certain you will need to replace it, better to be safe than run with a dodgy tyre wall.

Yup, when I took a closer look at it, I think the sidewall was definitely not as good as it should have been, and after reading about Gridlock Mikey's tyre 'laying an egg' I got it replaced (thanks Beechdale) straightaway.

spend the money & get a new one, as its only 750 miles old a new one will be pretty much the same size so you wont need to get a pair.
I dont think repairing tyres is a good idea, especialy on performance cars
before anyone gets the hump about tyre repairs are safe, I dont care, its only me & my family in my car so I want good tyres
