Well, my tires still have a very healthy profile but the outer edges do not look good and roadholding has considerably deteriorated this year
Since I suspect the outer edges to have suffered far more than the inner sides I think about getting them changed: front right to front left, front left to front right, rear right...you get the picture. Now my qustion is if it is really worth it or to hell with it, have a nice slidey time at the track because I wouldn't make a difference?
Any experiences?
Thanks
Ralf

Are they handed, in which case you can't.
In any case, it *is* worth rotating them to even up wear, but you need to do it regularly, and if it gets to the point where they are noticeably worn from one edge to the other swopping them (if not handed) will probably result in evil handling.

I think what Ralf is trying to say is, is it worth changing the tyres round (not wheels)!
Take the left front tyre (worn on outer edge) and puting it on the right front wheel so the worn edge is on the inside.
Ralf,
It depends how worn the edge is. Swapping them round will mean you get a bit more use out of them. If the edge is totally bald it's realy not worth it.
If the edges are that badly worn it might be worth getting the geometry checked.
In future swap the front and rear wheels over every 3000 miles/5000km and don't push so hard through round abouts
Iain.
