I've been monitoring this board quite some time but now it's time for me to ask you experts the following :-)

I own a MY00 and need new brakes.
With the OEM calipers I now drive 17" ET48 Kahn's which already need 3 mm spacers to fit the OEM calipers. I'm interested in the Prodrives 330 mm brake conversion but are the Prodrive calipers as 'thick' as the OEM's?

Anybody driving with Kahn's and Prodrive brakes cause I'm not sure if they will fit.

thnx
Rene

Welcome, Rene.

Though I'm not 100%, I can't believe that the Alcon alloy calipers will be slimmer than the standard steel ones. So I think you're looking at new wheels, which is good excuse to get rid of those horrible spacers

Cheers,

Richard.

Richard

Thnx for the reply.
I thought so too .... A great excuse to tell the wife I need new wheels huh :-) .... NOT.

No one in the UK driving the same combination ? Or anyone can tell me how much slimmer the OEM calipers are compared to the Alcon's ?

cheers
Rene
