ALLOYS....WHAT SIZE! 16" or 17"
#1
Hi
I have a funny feeling this topic will open the proverbial can of worms about what is biggest and best!!!! But here goes.......
I want to upgrade the standard alloys on my silver 4 door my95 wrx(5 spoke anthracite). But I don't no what size to go for? Does the ride quality suffer badly if I run 17's? The car is running (as far as I know) standard wrx suspension which is quite firm and the roads round here aren't known for their smoothness.
If I choose 17's, what size of tyre do I need to keep the speedometer calibrated correctly?
Can all you scooby owners with silver cars please post pictures of your pride and joy, so as to give me an idea of what style of wheels to go for.
Cheers
Al

17s! I just went from 14s to 17s yesterday, and they fill out the wheelarches just beautifully.
I got TSW 17" Apex rims, with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s for rubber.
Fitment is 215/40/17.
Brilliant.
