Hi guys & gals. I will be needing a set of pads for my Prodrive / Alcon brakes soon. I have been told they are v. expensive. Can any of you let me know a good place to get them from. Genuine ones preferred but as cheap as poss.
Many thanks.

the above is right, HOWEVER there are a number of other options (which we have had good results from!) which offer improved friction with less disc wear than "prodrive" options........
email or phone for any info./advice 0191-4103770
alyn - as performance
p.s. probs cheaper than subaru as well.....

Do you know what size discs you have fitted? Last year I needed new discs for my prodrive impreza. I went everywhere to try and find out what discs they actually were as nobody had ever seen them before (even a guy that works for prodrive rally team hadnt seen them before!). Eventually found out that they were Alcon discs 315mm x 28. The discs are £320 each and mintex pads around £100 from EARS motorsport in macclesfield.

Thanks everyone for the responses, knew I could rely on you.
They are 330 mm discs, don't know the thickness but are Prodrive branded, made by Alcon. Same as the upgrade kit for the P1.
Stockcar, will call you later. Thanks v. much.

N1, I think Prodrive supply or used to supply the Ferodo 2000's pads with the Alcon kit.
When I had my kit I bought a new set from Falkland performance, however the newer Ferodo 2500's are supposed to be better pads.
I'm sure the vendors on Scoobynet can supply the above pads at a considerable saving over Subaru.
