I have heard that changing to race fluid, thid will damage the brake lines and ABS unit, some people say I can not use race fluid, others say it can, but I have to bleed it every month, some people say you have to bleed the calipers after a track out., and I'm a little confused now.
Can anybody help me out here as I want to start the new year with some decent brake power...

depends on exactly what use you are putting your car to, but if its mostly road then i wouldn't normally recomend a "race" fluid (some like AP don't have a DOT rating so might be a bit of a pain with insurance companies if you had any probs!)
however, i would always re-bleed any brake system after a high heat cycle like trackdays regardless of fluid used.........
if you use primarily on the road any good quality DOT4 will suffice (don't be sucked in by the marketing / misinformation surrounding DOT5.1 as a "better" fluid - the rating only refers to the fluids ability to repel moisture and NOT performance!!)
any specific queries feel free to email me........
