Not sure if I'm asking the right questions here but is there a need to refurbish the 4 pot caliper, if so when? and what do I need to get to do it?

my calipers were almost white from all the beating they have got in two years, because they work good I keep them.
I bought some heat resistant paint from Motip in a spray can, it will go up to 650 c°. Removed the pads, and covered the surrounding with some paper. Then just paint them in two or three layers, the paint still hold, even after heavy use and wheel cleaner. About the inner things : I will get them revised after this year, then I will go to my dealer, probably they have a set for revising the calipers...
