have a my99 uk with standard rear disks but with prodrive big brake conversion on the front, brake balance i feel could be better, any ideas on what may sort this out and what if any brakes/pads to put on the rear new dics/pads=2pots feel free to throw out ideas....

Try an uprated pad, I found that my car braked much 'flatter' with them fitted, I used mintex 1144's, but the choice is yours.
The discs are already uprated, so they're adequate.
