Damn trips to Homebase

I only drove 50m on it to the Safeway over the road to try the air pump and then changed it when nothing would go in.

It's right in the top of the tyre in one of the grooves.

As long as it's not too near the edge of the tread

It should be, the tyre shop should be able to repair it if it's within a specified area (not sure exactly what that is) I've had several repaired in the past with no problems, and they were all on nearly new tyres.
They may try & sell you a new tyre though, be carefull, but your safety is most important.

Depends, is it posidrive or phillips?

Hate it when that happens, know exactly how ya feel. Looks ok to fix, if anyone says its too near the side wall, try somewhere else.

Good luck

Thumbs up

Looks as if it's gone straight in, so less chance of sidewall damage, and it's that that's the killer for repairs.

Wink

That's a write-off, so you'll need 4 new tyres

Anyone one have a tongue-in-cheek smiley?

That looks like the tread depth marker to me.

Should be perfectly fixable Chris, especially considering where it is on the tyre.
