Question

A fairly new tyre that come in quite cheap.... apparently made by Bridgestone for Federal???

Have heard nothing but great reviews on them... just not heard anything of here...

I think they work out around £55 per corner at 215/40/17 (not exactly sure that is correct but close)

I think topgear sell them.

So any opinions?

Where did you see reviews on these tyres......
I could be interested as I am in need of new tyres, and I am on a tight budget. So if they are good they may be the tyre for me.

hmmmm

i was supposed to get these with a wheel & tyre package i got from top gear

instead of the federals which were advertised, i got the wheels delivered with NANKANGS fitted, which after doing a search on here and reading the results i'm not very happy about it

the federal tyres on the site look like SO2 pole position and have good reviews, thats why i decided to get the package.

Phone call to top gear i think

Blinkin Nora!!!
I just went to Kwikfit to price up some Pzeros at £140 each, but £50 each sounds more like it if they are up to the job...

Both Nankang and Federal are big tire brands in Taiwan. Federal SS595 are popular budget tyre comparing to SO-2(head to head performance except for half the price in TW & last longer). The only downside I heard form some GT owners is they wish the side wall were stiffer.
Nankang... doesn't know they have tire as good as the SS595.
