Can anyone comment on the best pressure settings for Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 205/50ZR16 on classic MY00 Uk Turbo please?

I was running Toyo's up until yesterday 32/28.
The garage have set my Goodyear's up to 32/30, and wonder what the genereal feeling on this is.

32/30 sounds about right

Personally I found 32.5 front and 30.5 rear to be perfect (sad get with digital gauge )

Have played around with all sorts of combinations and the above seems spot on

Have experimented with pressures up to 35psi front and 32 rear on SO2's to help eliminate the tramlining and although this helped it was easier to just buy Toyos then Goodyears

Thanks SiPie, I didn't think I was going to be too far out.
You're not the only one with a digital pressure gauge... what's the tolerence on yours... less than .5psi ???

Not sure mate as it's just the cheapie Halfords one but measures in 0.5psi increments and so far has seemed pretty accurate.

I know alot of peeps on here run pressures around 35psi but I find this just too crashy around the pathetically maintained roads up here and a bit dodgy in the wet. Sure that the above is a pretty good compromise

Ahh.. so you spent the extra tenna on the 'Deluxe' gauge

I will stick to the 32/30 for a while and see how I get on.

It's raining, so I think I'll pop out now & see what those Eagle's can really do in the wet

Give it a few days or a couple of hundred miles to bed them in first as grip will be well down on what it should be until they are scrubbed a bit...

They got a little over 200 miles thrown on them lastnight , some motorway and some lane stuff too

I've taken on board what you've said though and will tread carefully for a little longer
