brake pads

Just been quoted 160 notes to have the front pad changed on a my02. Is this reasonable?
I've changed pads on other cars before, anyone know how much the parts are and if there's any special knowledge/tools needed on the scooby?
cheers

Sounds about right, but I would be tempted to buy a set of Ferodo DS2500's and fit them myself.
Mintex pads retail about £70 (for the classic shape) which are similar to the standard pads so add labour and Vat and you'll soon hit £140.
Ferodos are around £125 a set (again for the classic) but the difference is worth paying for.
Takes about 15 - 25 mins a wheel to change pads, but this is working at home so jacking up manually, undo wheels nut by hand etc etc etc... all takes time.
Dealers with ramps, air tools etc should be able to change a set in 1/2 hour.
