Hi,
Has anyone had a problem with glazing with their Prodrive Big Brake Kit?
The brake pads and rotors were bedded in according to the instructions and have been on the car for about 3000miles. I've done only one auto-x on them previously and today was my first track day on them. They were fine for about 10 mins. into my first run, but after that the pedal went soft. When I pulled into the pits, the rotors seemed a little glazed.
After cool down and driving home, the pedal is still soft.
Im not sure if it is the pads...could it be that I boiled my fluid? What kind of fluid is everyone running?
Thanks

sounds like you've over-heated your brake fluid......you will need to 'flush' and re-bleed the brakes to return the pedal to normal
use a hi-quality dot4 minimum......but check the "dry boiling point" between various brands as this can vary dramatically!!

Thanks, Ill replace the fulid and see what happens...I'm using Valvoline Synpower right now. What fluid does everyone recomend? I was thinking about using Motul.
Which would be better for street and occasional track days? Motul DOT 4 or RBF 600?
thanks
