Ello all.
Am about to fit a set of H&R springs to my 98 Wagon.
Should lower it 40-45mm.
Am running standard wheels at the moment, but looking to upgrade.
Does anyone know what size wheel i can safely get away with without rubbing ?
I know tyre size will be 215, but not sure if 18's will go under ok.
I did plan on Comp MO 8x18's but have been told they may rub.
Can anyone advise as to what they are running, and / or, what sizes not to go for ??
Apologies for the long babble...

I don't think an 8x18 wheel would be wise, 7.5x18 if your going to go for it. I've known cars ok with 35-40mm and 18's on 215/35/18's, but only on the new shape!
I wouldn't get 215/30's at any cost, sooner get the 17" wheel instead. You'll be skimming the rim of the alloys every time you corner on the road (I used to with mine, and it doesn't inspire you to go fast round any corner ever again).

Dont think i'd want to go to 30's in anycase.
Some of the roads i use would just kill the alloys.
So you rekon 7, or 7.5 would be a safer bet then ?
I'm not keen on getting the arches rolled or any of that noncense.
Thanks for replying mate.
