Question

As the title says really. I have the DS2500's on the front, but the rear pads are ridiculous monet at £130.

Just wonder if it's really worth using the same compound on the rears for a better brake balance.

Anyone running the Ferodo's on the front, but something like Mintex on the rears? Is it going to make that much of a difference?

I use DS2500 up front (AP/Brenbo kit) & standard Subaru on the rear - no problem - never noticed fade, even on track - the fronts do all the work.
They were £40 ish from a dealer IIRC.

you can certainly "mix & match" it really depends on what your using the car for and how you drive.......O.E. quality pads for your car are <£30incl. from ourselves......
feel free to mail for any specific advice

I run with OE rears and DS2500s up front.

No problems at all.

Stefan , I would save your money and put an OE quality pad in the rear , I would only put an uprated pad in the rear if you are doing loads of track days , Cheers Ian

I too have DS2500s on the front and OE rear pads. Done a few track days like that without any problems.
