EDB on new age??

Just thinking...I've seen in the owners manual that all new age WRX's and STis have ABS EDB, but looking at the spec sheets previously at dealers, on Subaru website etc...WRX has just ABS...not EDB...
I'd say they do have it as I've never had the rear wheels lock in any conditions...very very hard braking with the back end lifted up. Isn't that what EDB sorts?
