My front tires are like 60% worn, a little worse in the inside and the backs seem only about 30% worn - would it be a wise move to swap the front and backs over?

Any problems with this at all ?

 

I swapped mine and had no problems

May be obvious, but make sure you keep them on the same side though, otherwise the tread goes backward.

If you're going to swap tyres, do it often - like every 3,000 miles or so when I change the oil. Otherwise you'll get a pronounced wear pattern (as you've discovered) and the tyres won't sit properly on the road, so upsetting your contact patch.
