Tyres???????????????????????

Hi, I am pretty new to scoobys, but I have noticed that everyone recomends a couple of brands of tyres, and slates all others. especially budget brands.
I you check out www.mytyres.net they will have reviews for most tyres listed, conducted by pro organisations.
I personally rate Hankook ventus K102 silca, I have had these tyres on my Cosworth, Volvo T5 and MG T16, They are hard wearing, good in the dry and wet, also directional tread, but made with a silicone compound rubber. These are a relatively cheap tyre, which if you read the reviews, are as good if not better than the more popular choices on here.
Sorry didnt mean to get heavy.

Always good to hear of cheaper brands who produce a decent tyre...
People thought Toyo's were cheap & crap (well they are still a bit on the crap side compared to F1's )when they were first introduced until the penny dropped, so you may still be on to a winner
