What's one of them then? I assume it stiffens up the brake pedal/bulkhead etc.

Is it worth fitting one to a P1 which is used exclusively on the road?

It's basically a bracket attached to to suspension tower with a bolt that tightens on to the master brake cylinder.
Under hard braking the cylinder can flex the bulk head, the bracket helps prevent this. Also fitting stainless steel brakelines and DOT5.1/silicone fluid will help.
The bracket is available from Power Engineering for about £55 and is easy to fit.
