Question

Got an MY99 - standard wheels

What are the best pads to get - only got OEM discs and pads at the moment.

Don't do track days, but would like a little more "bite"...

EBC reds, Pagid fast road pads? any good?

What have you lot got?

Try doing a search for pads / brakes. When I was looking the general view seemed to be that unless you were to go for a new setup like AP 4pots then its best to stick to standard. Lots of after-market stuff is prone to warping and does not really give much better braking performance.
A set of braided hoses makes the pedal feel more positive.

When I looked arounf 4 weeks back a lot of people recommended Pagid or DS2000/DS2500's. I went for the Pagid's up front (£140) and OEM spec rears £30. The OEM fronts are £50. All prices are from AS Performance.
