i keep reading about about wot tyres people are using and wot are the best(only looking as im going through the process of new wheels and tyres myself)and all people seem to talk about are the bridgestones, toyo's and the goodyear f1's,do michelin and pirelli not make any decent tyres anymore?aswell as a number of other brands that dont seem to get mentioned, just wondered if anyone had any views on these others...

I think people talk about these tyres because in people's oppinion they are the best for these cars, so why talk about the rest?

Yep, but most people on here like to make use of the awd and drive enthusiastically in the wet as well as in the dry. Hence the popularity of F1s and Proxes T1-s. Whilst other brands perform well (often better) in the dry the Goodyears and Toyos are the favoured all round performers (ie dry/wet weather performance, wear rates, noise, price).

Cool

so wot makes the p-zeros useless on the impreza?
ive been comparing tyres on reifentest.com and find some of the michelins and pirellis are right up there with the others in the test results when looking at the alround performances....so wot would make these bad tyres for the impreza, especially the michelin pilot primacy.

http://www.tyretest.com/pkw_sommerreifen/goodyear/eagle_f1/index.html

http://www.tyretest.com/pkw_sommerreifen/michelin/pilot_primacy/index.html

in these ratings 1 is the best and 6 is the worst
