A mate of mine runs a tyre shop and he mentioned to me last night that he may be able to get hold of a whole load of Eagle F1's.
Naturally, this may not come off because we may not get enough takers to get a good enough discount but if we do, how many would be interested, and what size would be required?

I think the most popular size is gonna be 215/40/17 and my mate seems to indicate that this will be the one he can get the discount on if we have enough takers.

I had 4 fitted last week @ £109 each from a guildford tyre company.
That's for the F1's.
Sorry andy, would have done the group buy but treads started to disapear

I don't think this is going to come-off lads. The discounts he was promised for a large order was not as good as originally offered.
As a result, I don't think this group buy is worth pursuing.
Thanks for all those who did show an interest though!

Hmmm,
I had 4 x 215/45x17's Eagle F1's fitted with steel valves, balanced and four wheel alignment done at Protyre in Fareham for £380!!! I thought this was expensive until I read this thread!
Just like to say a big thank you to whoever it was who recommended these tyres to me. They have absolutely transformed the car. It's incredible!
